This is a maintenance release that fixes several minor bugs /features
• The old import function did not filter files that were in use, hence you could try to import from Before Dark it's self, this of course would cause a crash. Now, Before Dark filters out files in use.
• Fixed Spelling errors in Balloon help and several dialogs (thanks to Owen W. Linzmayer).
This version fixes 2 annoying bugs in Before Dark 1.0 with regards
to the "General Controls" panel.
Fact of life:
Once you install a pattern greater than 8x8 pixels, the color patterns in the "General Controls" panel goes away, and you are stuck with black and white patterns. This is because the installed system pattern is now greater than 8x8 pixels, and the control panel can only handle 8x8 patterns.
1. If you choose one of the black and white patterns in the "General Controls" panel or zap your PRAM you will find that when you reboot, the black and white pattern will over-ride the Before Dark pattern and you'll have to launch Before Dark to re-Apply the pattern every time you boot. BOGUS!
BD 1.0.1 fixes it so that when you re-Apply the pattern it becomes the pattern that will display when you re-boot.
2. If after you have installed a large pattern with Before Dark and you decide you want your small patterns back, you will find that the color strip has disappeared from the "General Controls" panel.
BD 1.0.1 now has a "Virginize System" menu item, choosing this restores color strip and a ugly gray 8x8 pattern.
